Review
BlindWrite5 is a nice solution for backup a CD/DVD onto your hard disk with an exact copy of its contents. It has three basic modes to operate: Copy (a normal copy from disc to disc), Read (to explore a disc and extract his contents to save them in an image file on your hard disk) and Write (burn a previously made disc image on a CD/DVD). In Write mode you can load ISO, CUE, CloneCd or Alcohol compilations, as long as compilations made with previous versions of BlindWrite.
BlindWrite5 has a simple and clean user interface, featuring a lot of visual themes to customize the look-and-feel of the program window, menus and items.
The purpose of BlindWrite is to provide a easy-to-use application to end users, without worrying about "technical" issues when ripping and burning discs.
However, it couldn't be suitable for all cases (for example on last DVD movies featuring new copy-protection methods like DVD-43).
Please note that version 5 is rather old, here you can get the latest version of the product with a lot of bugfixes and feature enhancements. |
